Mulan

The story of Fa Mulan is a true story except some things are changed. My source was http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art29756.asp. Instead of being in the Mind Dynasty for the Disney version, the real story was taken place in the Tang dynasty around 600 b.c. Also the name she used was different. She didn't say she was of the Fa family instead she went with her old family name of Li. But the most surprising thing of all wasn't that her name was different of that it was taken place farther back but that she wasn't cursed a heretic for being a woman and disguising herself as a man but that she was honored and revered for it entirely. This was surprising to me. I thought that women were not like that in the old days. But in the end the sources says that the same moral is there, men are just as affected by war as men are.
